Perfect day in Kamakura
Jean is a fantastic host. We did more, and we learned more, than we were expecting. He is a master storyteller, and quite the historian. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The lunch his wife prepared at La Terrassa Zen was absolutely delicious, carefully prepared and truly a perfect addition to our day. I cannot say enough great things about this day with Jean and his wife. They really went above to make our day memorable and even went as far as recommendations with our next adventures in Hakone and Kyoto. ❤️ thank you for a lovely day.

Mi gran viaje en Kamakura!!
Kamakura es un lugar increíble, lleno de magia y encanto, sus templos son bellísimos.
Los guías Jean, el Sr. Yamazaki y Bruno, fueron muy amables, atentos y amigables, la pasamos increíble con su compañía.
El almuerzo que nos ofrecieron fue sumamente delicioso, disfrutamos muchísimo cada bocado.
Y en el transcurso del recorrido, Bruno nos tomó diversas fotografías que nos compartió al final de nuestro recorrido. Muchas gracias Bruno por ese gran detalle!!
Confieso que Kamakura es un lugar que no puedes dejar de visitar cuando estes en Japón.

A great way to discover and learn about Kamakura!
We met at the great La Terrasse Zen café for a 3 hour private walking tour in Kamakura. We discovered the city for the first time, visiting 3 beautiful temples and the great buddha! We crossed many locals that knew our guide: Jean. We learned the history of Kamakura and Japan throughout the walk, making the visit as lovely as instructive. A big thanks to Jean, we highly recommend this tour!

We had a wonderful day visiting Kamakura with our guide Jean! We visited many beautiful temples, charming towns, the Daibutsu Buddha, enjoyed a delicious meal at La Terrasse Zen, and ended the tour at the beach. Thanks to Jean's knowledge, we learned a lot about the culture and history of Japan and Kamakura. I highly recommend this tour. 🙂

Un guide extraordinaire !
Doté d’un excellent sens de l’équilibre, Jean réalise un parcours agréable et complet et nous a montré de superbes endroits, à la fois emblématiques et cachés, tout le long ponctués de détails intéressants et variés.
Le plus étonnant est la grande introduction dans la culture japonaise, avec des apports sociologiques et anthropologiques. Même à moitié japonaise, j'apprends des points intéressants grâce aux idées de Jean !

Nous nous sommes rencontrés au grand café La Terrasse Zen pour une visite privée de 3 heures à pied à Kamakura. Nous avons découvert la ville pour la première fois, en visitant 3 magnifiques temples et le grand Bouddha ! Nous avons croisé de nombreux habitants qui connaissaient notre guide: Jean. Nous avons appris l'histoire de Kamakura et du Japon tout au long de la promenade, rendant la visite aussi agréable qu'instructive. Un grand merci à Jean, nous recommandons vivement cette visite!
